Yee Ean Pang brings to GMC a solid investment track record in greenfield and infrastructure development across Asia. He contributes to align the City's development with triple sustainability investment strategies, helping to ensure economically, socially and environmentally responsible growth. Yee Ean is actively engaging the project and investment teams in mobilising development in GMC's Science, Technology & Business (STB) Parks, social & public infrastructure and renewable energy projects, which are essential components of the City's vision of sustainable economic development and urban living. Yee Ean is currently CEO of DEHK Capital, investing in Industrial Park infrastructure in the Americas, and Founder & Director of Urbina Capital, which focuses on investing in social infrastructure such as water supply, affordable housing, in Southeast Asia. Prior to this, Yee Ean was CEO of Surbana Jurong Capital, where he managed large-scale investment strategies for infrastructure development. Before that, he was Director General of Investments at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), where he launched private sector financing operations and led AIIB into diverse markets, including India, China, Myanmar, Egypt and Turkey. Earlier in his career, Yee Ean held roles as CEO of Surbana International Consultants and Group COO of Surbana Jurong Group, where he oversaw the master planning of large and complex projects in markets across Asia and Africa. He began his career as an electrical power engineer with JTC Corporation in Singapore, and later co-founded Abecha, an industrial e-procurement platform, before joining CapitaLand Ascendas REIT, Singapore’s leading business space provider, as SVP for Real Estate Funds. Yee Ean holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
